I disagree with the sentiment, though. We've already been to that spot. It would be a wasted scientific trip, just to go wipe out our footprints and bring back the lander base. A trillion dollars for a pissing contest? That would be impressively crazy.

Plus, it isn't like we've gone to Mars and pissed on all the probes the European Space Agency has crashed there. "I am 100% sure the USA would do that." Idiot.

I think about 50% of ours crashed there as well.

Nuh uh. When ours "crashed" was when we were fighting the Martian inhabitants and they got shot down.
