True. The SEC and ACC seem to be protected because farm animals can't sue.

Retired judge rules Texas Tech QB who gambled throughout his career, including on games he played in, can still play. This has thrown the college world for a loop. It's obviously a completely stupid ruling and the NCAA has appealed asking for an immediate court date.

TT plans to start the kid at QB, and the rest of college football is discussing removing TT from their schedule in response. Texas AG is now warning the Big12 that they face lawsuits if they refuse to play TT.

Former OSU LB allegedly* murdered his GF.

Seems really fucking obvious that he did it.

I'm surprised at the legal decision. But I don't know the details

Sorsby is heading to the NFL supplemental draft.

I'm sure this is result of some back door deals.

It avoids all the controversy going on, but how many student athletes are now gambling because of the moronic ruling?

Lots of turmoil going on at MSU.

Sounds like their board members are the root cause.

Ultimately, yeah, dude should not be in college sports. I don't get the ruling.

Dusty May going pro, goodbye Michigan.
Michigan coach Dusty May is finalizing a deal to take the Dallas Mavericks' head coaching job, sources told ESPN, an axis-shifting move that significantly alters the college and NBA landscapes.

May, 49, led Michigan basketball to the national title in 2026. He'll coach a franchise with Cooper Flagg as a linchpin player. The Mavericks fired Jason Kidd after a 26-56 season last year.
...
May's departure means that Michigan's players can explore their future options, as under NCAA rules a 15-day transfer window will open five days after a new head coach is hired or publicly announced.

Michigan is working toward hiring current assistant coach Mike Boynton Jr. as interim coach, per sources. Boynton brings head coaching experience from Oklahoma State and will attempt to keep a talented roster in place.

That roster includes Final Four Most Outstanding Player Elliot Cadeau, talented rising sophomore Trey McKenney and a new crop of talented transfers that includes J.P. Estrella, Moustapha Thiam and Jalen Reed.

Guy was a great coach. Can't say I'm sad to see him go.

TTUN should hire Juwan Howard again. Those were good times!

Saw that. That was a very sincere "Go fuck yourself" without saying it.

And now he's going to sue the NFL...

OSU adds Jet Harrision (Marv's younger brother.)

He's the 4th 5 star this cycle. 2 others are on the DL. Not sure where the 4th was, might be a RB.

Taking bets on how many actually stick around? As always, I have to voice my cynical "commitments mean nothing now" opinion!

I'd rather have commitments than not.

It helps recruiting when other good players see your recruiting class filling up.
