Hundreds of years of slavery + discrimination >> 20 years of affirmative action
It's ok to discriminate against people who had nothing to do with slavery or racism in the early and mid 1900s in favor of people who weren't slaves or alive in the early and mid 1900s. Why? Because even though the people today not only had nothing to do with any of that and might not even be descendants from those who did (on either side), their skin color was the same! And that's how we end racism! We have to make sure people with a certain skin color are given advantages over people with another skin color because that cures racism.
By the way, country or skin color has a history free of being or owning slaves.
Let's also throw hate crimes in there since they were created under a black president and black attorney general. They're geared towards white people despite the fact that black people commit violent crimes against white people far more often.
Reminder: A black president elected by a bunch of white people who are apparently too racist to hire black people on their own.
All completely logical...
Does Affirmative Action work?
“Activism is a way for useless people to feel important, even if the consequences of their activism are counterproductive for those they claim to be helping and damaging to the fabric of society as a whole.” - Dr Thomas Sowell
