Re: Soccer
Ecuadors a bunch of whiny bitches. Honestly, too many soccer players are.
It's not me, it's someone else.
Re: Soccer
Paraguay over Germany? Wow!

Re: Soccer
Yeah, holy fucking shit. The team we beat 4-0. Rough year for Germany. Rough 3 World Cups for Germany, honestly.
It's not me, it's someone else.
Re: Soccer
Japan was up 1-0 on Brazil, lost 2-1. Paraguay over Germany; Morocco over the Netherlands... man. What a start.
It's not me, it's someone else.

Re: Soccer
We play tomorrow at 8 p.m. and are big favorites. Then get the winner of Belgium-Senegal on July 6th.
I think we have a decent chance to get to the round of 8...? But that's where Spain/Portugal will be waiting. I cannot think we'd be favorites from that point forward.
Top 8 would be an amazing finish for the USMNT.

Re: Soccer
England was down 1-0 with 20 minutes left today. Won 2-1.
Wasn't too shocking though as it felt like England was camped out in DRC's zone the whole game.
Let's go USA! Heading to golf in 100 degree weather, and won't get home until the game is in progress.

Re: Soccer
Yeah, England definitely had the most chances. It was almost like when Japan went 1-0 up on Brazil, but Brazil just kept pressing, whereas Japan barely took another shot.

Re: Soccer
Senegal up 2-0 on Belize until the 85th minute. Then 2-2 in the 89th. Penalty kick at the end of extra time, lose 3-2.

Re: Soccer
This ref can eat a bag of dicks. What a bunch of bull-fucking-shit. Every god damned time. Everyone hates the US.

Re: Soccer
Preach. That was horseshit. Can FIFA overturn that before the next game like our pro leagues can?TheCatt wrote: Wed Jul 01, 2026 9:30 pm This ref can eat a bag of dicks. What a bunch of bull-fucking-shit. Every god damned time. Everyone hates the US.
Glad we pulled off the W, but Belgium was going to be hard enough. Now we have to beat them without our top scorer and the overall top first half scorer.

Re: Soccer
I think we can beat Belgium without Balogun. We have other in-form strikers who can score. Just need 1.
It's our super athletic young midfield that has been tormenting other teams anyway.
Not easy, but doable.

Re: Soccer
Some of our possession down a man in the second half was a beauty. Just heading the ball to each other in tiny windows and keeping the ball controlled with excellent first touches and dribbles into space. Didn't even recognize the team. NEVER seen them to that against actual competition.
Re: Soccer
Also, it's time Pulisic, all those chocolate bars, all the hype, all the time being the fancy USA guy whose actually good all the way up to the Champions League. It's time to deliver. You specifically.

Yeah, it's a new era. But... we're still not France.Troy wrote: Thu Jul 02, 2026 12:29 pm Some of our possession down a man in the second half was a beauty.
