I would also like to see a prequel focusing on the Russian crew of the Cherno Alpha. They had more little moments than I thought, I missed them the first time around because I was distracted by the giant fucking robots.

I finally got around to seeing this one. It's okay. I enjoyed it. Although I am amazed that someone was able to take a well-funded movie about giant robots fighting kaiju and make it merely okay. That takes a special set of skills.
