Had some more combat tonight. Pack of 4 running around looking for bad guys. We ended up taking the boat to the bad guys' land. As soon as we hit the shore, we saw a level 30 something farming monsters. He's and enemy faction in the war zone, so we are free to attack. And we do. All four of us are on him. It's takes us a few, but we get him down. As he was falling, another red joined the fight and we turned on him. He didn't stick around much past half health and he started running. He ran around a hillside. As we round the corner, we see multiple reds. So we reverse direction and go full retreat. We jump off the island and onto the boat. Scooty got tackled and killed pretty quickly. Level 16 doesn't last long against 30.
We continue our journey around the island and disembark at another location. Same thing. Enemy faction farming monsters. We find a level 36 and attack. He's got a battle pet with him! He puts that on Madmordigan as Troy closes in and is pretty much 1v1. I run up the stairs in time to drop one heal and then Troy falls. The level 36 jumps down and locks on to level 16 Scooty. Scooty announces that he's dead, meaning, he thinks he's about to die. Madmordigan and I are pouring as much damage into the enemy as we can as Scooty soaks up point after point of damage. He really hung in there well. I think the level 36 was surprised. I was! He held out until the enemy was down to a sliver of health left and fell. Mad and I finished the guy off and high tailed it back to the water.
Our last adventure was in a town area. We had to watch out for guards. Troy split away from us and got attacked by a very strong enemy. Level 40 maybe? I fought, but couldn't survive long enough for us to find him. Our group was splitting up again because we didn't know where we were. We ended up running back to the guard area and recalled out.
Some of us earned some honor points, but then lost them in death. I ended up with a whopping 8 honor points.
Combat was pretty fun. Very fast paced and I had a hard time keeping up. Especially because I remapped my keyboard. I don't care for the targeting system, because there isn't one. It was hard to pick out the bad guys when multiple good guys are on him. Wonder if there is a hot key that will tag them and put their health bar on screen like friendly health bars are. That way, I can click on bars to heal/hurt instead of moving targets in the middle of a fight.

There is a potion that lets you breath under water for 45 minutes. 6gp though.

Are you working on Alchemy? I need one of these bad for a farmers workbench so I can make sheep food. Are you close to that? I can get all the mats.
Actually one of them requires a cross trade to a safe port on the other side we haven't done yet. The Resource Trader gives Rock Salt - high level Alchemy thing. It's going for 1 gold on the AH.

I am working alchemy. However, you need 10k proficiency to make that. I have 315. Should be there. . . . never?
Alchemy, I'm reading, is the slowest gaining profession. You gain points based on how many labor points you spend. All of my stuff is 1-5 LP to do. So, it's really cheap to do, but takes forever to go up.

Good trade route for our local Two Crowns packs. 15 Gold a pack?
I built one with my Pomegranates and put it on my farm.

Also, when you are harvesting, make sure you keep all the special items you find. Like Oily Cotton Seed when harvesting cotton. All that stuff is used in alchemy.

What would help level? Medicine Powder?

Yes. That is the main ingredient in all of the lower level stuff that I know of. The lavender and other thing is like level 1.5 stuff. I did find that mana refresh potions give best gains, so we'll have those coming out of our asses for a while. And the 800+ heals are ultra cheap as well. Spam those at will.

Oh, and that charcoal stuff is used in dyes and stuff. But each one takes 3.

Was looking at the AH and found Pomegranates that were over priced for the but it now, so no one ever bought them. The auction was about to expire and by default, the opening bid price is the same as the NPC purchase price. There were 11 sitting at a few copper each. I watched the auction count down. Spammed refresh to figure out where the second hand was, so I knew exactly when the auction was going to end. At about 15 seconds left, I bid on it. Someone out bid me right away. I waited a few more seconds then bid again. Auction ended, I won. 11 Pomegranate for 1.20 SILVER total!!

More AH fun. I had a few pomegranate and wanted to sell them. Got there, and the price was half what it was when we planted. They were down to 45 silver each. Lame. However, the first page was 3/4 full of 45 silver, the rest and after were closer to 1 gold. So, I priced mine at 99 silver and set it for 12 hours. They did finally sell. So, you can still get 1 gold for them.
And I just found out why. There are a total of 6 auction listings for pomegranate right now. Although, 5 of the six are at 45 silver each. The sixth is at 1.5 gold. If I was a brave man, I'd buy all of them right now, and reprice them. But I'm not, since it would take all the gold I have right now.

So, I'm standing at the little vendor village by our houses. Looking at the AH listings. Suddenly, just to the left, a harpoon lands. The rope tightens up. I turn around and there's just a tall hill. I look up to the top of the hill to see a clipper ship at the top of it. The harpoon rope breaks and they shoot another. It goes tight. The ship slowly starts lurching forward. It slides down the hill. Another harpoon. Ship slowly lurches forward. Continues this all the way to the beach and into the water.

I don't think we are there yet with the harpoon.
I think we managed to shoot my deck twice on the last outing

Ya. But that was because we were the only boat we could aim at, at the time.

I was having Glider Envy and did some looking. You can buy three upgrades to the glider and apply them at a carpenter's workbench. They cost a total of about 1.75 gold on Mirage Island. Glider design area. Don't buy the experimental, but buy the other three. Gives you a much better glider. Still not as good as Troy's. But it becomes much more functional.

Heard the best possible glider is dropped by the Kraken
Oh, I heard that Alchemy was gained best by converting/breaking down archeum. Not sure how that works though
