We remain in second having lost to #1 and the rest shaping out ok.
Just win now, two more wow wins probably is enough, 4 games left, 2 more this window.
Coach says we "dominated" Canada despite the loss.

Only 1 game left in this window. Honduras.
Then we finish the final cycle against Mexico, Panama, and Costa Rica. So, basically everyone we're fighting for a spot against.

I feel like we just totally wasted our runway, lost our safety cushion, etc.
Not much room for error at all. Yay white knuckle games!

It's 2 fucking degrees for tonight's game. Good job of freezing out Honduras!

Had to win and we did, feels like we are back in control of our fate. Just need to pick up some road points.

3.24 - Mexico
3.27 - Panama
3.30 - Costa Rica
Winning that first one would be huge.

To be fair, I think we need to win a WC before we can be that disappointing.
Speaking of soccer, recently had a conversation with someone involved in youth sports and they were talking about how baseball teams are having trouble finding kids because they're all on soccer teams. So the future looks bright?

Baseball sucks. So if it gets rid of the MLB, I'm all for it!
I dunno, millions of kids have been playing youth soccer for a while.

If we beat Costa Rica, we get the 2 seed, right?
If we lose by less than 6, we get the 3 seed, iirc.

Off the road enjoying creature comforts of home and office.
Woke and doing a fast, fasting run and repping the squad.
I love them as a country, but we are beating Costa Rican ass today and going to the WC.

I like that jersey.
Hey, do you know a good outlet for soccer jerseys and can they customize them?
I want to buy one for our local team (I mean could it be more perfect?), but they don't seem to sell them.

Maybe they only sell them at the stadium?
Ebay has one:
