He gets random powers in the comics?

I don't read the book, which is why I asked. The last time I remember him doing something different was when he was electric based after returning from his "death".

Still, are there any power changes that happened this century? All the examples on that page are from the silver age.

Modern Supes has super strength, speed, flight, laser eyes, frost breath, and is mostly invulnerable. I am unaware of anything else.

That's because the boys at DC have a different character they can assign random superpowers to now.

He's always been a weaker Superman with telepathy, shape shifting, and a weakness for fire.

And telekinesis, and invisibility, and energy absorption, and mass/size manipulation...

His fire weakness is also insanely inconsistent. Sometimes, you can't light a cigarette without MM turning into green goo. Other times, fuck that, it's only magical fire. Other times, fuck both those, it's purely in his head.

The Blu Ray has a great little extra.... it is a National Geographic-style documentary of the planet Krypton, information of which they gleaned from the alien comms before the Battle of Metropolis, and from alien wreckage, after. One great part is that a lot of the "artist conception" cgi was generated by LexCorp, as you can see from their watermark.

ALSO.... rewatching the movie, there was the part when Superman is Fighting Zod and they go into space and wreck some sort of satellite. You only see it for half a second, but that satellite was build by Wayne Industries. (Enterprises? whatev)
