Yeah, that's a trilogy. Roommate appears to be into it. Her tastes in books, movies, & music is ... questionable.
As far as chick flicks go, at least it's got vampires.

If they have vaginas and no boobs they don't count as real vampires. Jerry Dandrige would feed him his vagina.

Ha, I thought he meant Buffy/Angel, at first.

The BD is going to be rated R.

And from the looks of it, it will still suck. Adding 2 scenes that do absolutely nothing to fix the film, though tits are always nice.

I finally saw this tonight. I didn't hate it as much as others, mainly because I went in thinking I'd hate it.
There was decent action, and the one cameo was cool.
Although, this film does not fit into the Terminator mythology. I don't mean it occurred outside of it. I mean it was Terminator-lite. The story went from humanity's survival to a philosophical piece on what makes us human.
It fit far better, and was far more interesting when it happened in Season 5 of Star Trek: The Next Generation and the "Terminator" was named Hugh.

I am a terminator and I have my incredibly strong hand on John Conner's body. I could easily crush his throat and skull right now, and ensure my side will win this war.
Nah, I'll just throw him around instead.
Repeat.

Had the film DVRd forever and finally watched it.
There was a good movie int here somewhere, among the suck.
Two major mistakes:
1. They made it PG-13, and this means no blood, no terminations, and lots of throwing humans around instead of killing them. Stupid.
2. I have heard that Christian Bale required a lot of rewrites of John Conner... Conner was not supposed to be a leading role, the human/terminator hybrid was. And the end was supposed to be JC dying from tht chest wound and the terminator taking his place (resurrecting?) as JC the resistance leader... no one knew what he looked like outside of his own small band of men. He was just a voice on the radio. Instead we get impromptu, successful heart transplant surgery in a tent in the desert. Thanks, Bale.
Besides that, I liked the concept of the perfect infiltration unit being the one that didn't know it was an infiltration unit.
Still not as good a concept as the TV series, especially season 2. I am STILL pondering that season and realizing new angles.

Finally saw this and was underwhelmed. WAY to many times where I was left wondering why they thought I'd buy that. They are in the gas station in the middle of the desert and no one noticed the 4 story robot walking up there? It just appears out of no where. Many more things like that. The best part was seeing Arnold. I thought it was all CGI. Unless I missed something else and he played a different character somewhere. Don't hate myself for watching it, but, definitely let the series down.
My wife didn't watch it, but asked "Where in the time line does this movie fall?"
I laughed. "That's a very difficult question to answer when it comes to the Terminator universe."

I know I've pimped the TV show more than once, but let me state for the last time that the TV series is as good as the first 2 Terminator movies. I know that is a bold statement, but I stand by it.

I watched them too and liked them very much. Right up until I'm left with a cliff hanger that will never be resolved. Fuckers. I liked where the series was taking the franchise. The show was so good, it didn't bother me that Brian Austin Greene was a main character in it.

You could tell they really rushed an ending onto it when they learned they were cancelled.
But that season 2 was just really neat. Everything you think ends up being wrong.
