But it's pretty much rich techies that live in that neighborhood now - like the majority of the city. Most of the hippies have moved to the East bay or elsewhere.
Dolores Park is closer to me, and you can smell it from a block away on the weekend.

One Memorial Day weekend, maybe 10 or so years ago, was on the corner. The vendors came out of the shadows in about thirty seconds.
