I've been paying zero attention so I am enjoying my cognitive dissonance.

But you say that as if to suggest the other candidates haven't been lying.

Malcolm hates Trump so much I figured perhaps Trump was in law enforcement.

The prez is nothing less than the head of the executive branch, part of the responsibilities include "top cop."

Let me know when he gets Mexico to pay for the wall and deports eight figures worth of immigrants.

But you say that as if to suggest the other candidates haven't been lying.

Sure they do. But they aren't taking it to the next level Fight Club-like, as is Donnie Numbnuts.

They all lie some. Some lie more than others. Trump has taken this tradition to new and absurdly high levels of ridiculousness. He makes Bernie Madoff look honest.

The wall is easily the stupidest of all his ideas.

Ever see the Penn and Teller Bullshit (?) episode where they hired illegals to build an exact replica of "the wall" proposed at the time, and then had them get into three teams and each successfully went over, under, or through the wall faster than they built it?

I'd say it's approximately equally stupid as all the rest of them. I have yet to see that dude offer even a minimal policy blueprint for anything he wants aside from blind and fanatical mix of nationalism and economic sabre rattling. If he wins the office, it'll be like when Peter Griffin and his band got a gig but forget they didn't know any songs.

So why aren't you bashing Clinton, Sanders, Cruz, or Kasich in the same way?

This is why the Republicans need to get in front of this monster they ignored and start making deals. Make a deal with him that if he lets them pick the majority of his cabinet and X as his running mate, then they'll get Cruz and Kasich to drop out and they will assure him of the nomination. Stipulate no more talking off the cuff.

First the Republicans ignored him. Then they laughed anytime someone pointed at his poll numbers. They were CERTAIN he'd fall out of favor. Then he started winning and they still ignored it while singing the same song and dancing the same dance.

Now that he's firmly in command of a massive portion of their voting block, they are thinking of cutting him off at the legs.

They're failing in every possible way.

Trump isn't the biggest fuck up in the room, it's the Republicans.

Meanwhile, what he has done is make everyone focus on him and the Republicans so nobody will notice that the Democrats are in as bad or worse shape. Clinton and Sanders? Really? There was nobody else?

Because I know they have a brain in their skull. Trump has yet to prove anything close and I think he doesn't have the capacity to hold a conversation above an 8th-grade level.

Trump isn't the biggest fuck up in the room, it's the Republicans.

I've said many a time that party needs to dissolve, filter out the fundie psychos, and reform under a banner of economic and logical sanity. There's not a goddamn chance that any of them will give up the tradition/brand/whatever that it offers, though.

What do you base that on?

Sanders is old as dirt, yet somehow can't pick up a history book to see why his plans will fail.

Clinton actually said recently, "Under my watch, nobody died in Libya." She was stupid enough to get blown out by a fucking community organizer.

Trump has yet to prove anything close and I think he doesn't have the capacity to hold a conversation above an 8th-grade level.

Trump is richer than both of them. Talk about his dad's money all you want, but the fucker is doing business every day and isn't broke. He's also funding his own campaign, which is the single best thing about any candidate.

I'm not voting for Trump...or Sanders...or Clinton. There's an 80% chance I write in "Reagan's ghost". But, I'm getting tired of watching attacks against him while the other two are equally unqualified and undeserving of being in their position.

The Dems have always been more flexible because they hitched their wagon to the public's moral compass rather than having a rigid set of standards. They make it seem like they're champions of the underdogs and unrepresented while enacting policy that keeps those same folks oppressed.

Point being, the Republicans simply suck at PR. Both parties suck monkey balls.

What do you base that on?

Hearing them talk and watching them do things. They exude some degree of higher intelligence. Not much, but they're on a different plane of intellect than Donnie Dickeater. I genuinely wonder about his ability to grasp complex concepts, which is not something his batshit insane rhetoric has done. I was serious about him picking Kanye as VP. Trump inherited his fortune, Kanye married his. Both wouldn't be viewed with such scorn if they'd stop thinking their financial gurus and learn that 90% of the thoughts in their head should fucking stay there as opposed to getting loosed upon the world, polluting grey matter.

Trump is richer than both of them. Talk about his dad's money all you want, but the fucker is doing business every day and isn't broke.

According to his percentages from the last few decades, his "business" would be doing better if he shoved his cash into low-risk IRAs and mutual funds. If he left his wealth alone, he have more of it. Ergo, I call him stupid for not doing so and not crunching numbers involving only basic math to figure it out.

But, I'm getting tired of watching attacks against him while the other two are equally unqualified and undeserving of being in their position.

That's like bitching the dude wearing a dayglow radioactive green suit decorated with LEDs is more noticeable in the dark than the norm.

I don't think Drumpf would be interested in the slightest, no matter how much they promised him. He's intent on yanking the entire party out from under their feet, and it looks like he's going to pull it off. Why would he need to negotiate?

Stipulate no more talking off the cuff.

Not a chance in hell he'd ever agree to that. Way too much ego; don't you know that everything he says is brilliant? Why would you want him to stop being brilliant?

Besides, he doesn't need to make deals. Back before he was winning all the Republican candidates were forced to sign a contract that they would fully support whomever wins the nomination. They did it to get Drumpf to fall into line after he lost, but now it's going to bite them squarely on the ass.

If they want to prove their party has any semblance of balls remaining, they'll let common sense veto that.

I have more respect for over the top bullshit than I do for the stuff that sounds sincere and actually sways people because they are hurting and need that help, only to be disappointed yet again later when the person gets elected on their broken promises.

No one will be hurt if Trump promises to install space lasers of the American southwest that have the ability to let jackrabbits through but not illegals.

People should have been more pissed when Gitmo was never closed, since that was a "Day 1" promise.

You value exaggeration over false sincerity? What's the difference?

He might be if he wants to get reelected or have a shot in hell at building a consensus in Congress. If elected, the relationship between President Don Fuckwit and Congress will make Jimmy Carter look like George Washington.

I don't see how lying on the campaign trail isn't viewed as exaggerating one's intentions. After that, I don't see how "over the top" beats "soft sell broken promises."

Are you suggesting that if Bernie and Hillary would just say, "We're going to rob the rich at gunpoint and redistribute wealth by hand until our reelection chances are optimal," or "Personal privacy? Hah. Fuck you, you'll need to fill out three different forms just to take a shit and have an officially sanctioned government bureaucrat watching you. Five forms if you want to use a toilet, and god help you if you want to take a shit on an airplane in flight because the paperwork will be longer and the air marshals will just tell you to fuck off," you'd like them more?

If I can't trust a politician to confuse and misdirect his own countrymen, I can't expect him to do it to world leaders. I value guile, and Redd Foxx had more than Donnie Dumbass.

Obama has being a fucking liar his entire administration, and has tens of millions of groupies willing to kill or die for him, and he has been a disaster with foreign relations.
