This message brought to you by the US Government, a division of MSM Propaganda.
Peeps not liking how government is going in 2021 (checks president): "Insurrectionists again!"

Peeps not liking how government is going in 2025: Demonstratable arsonists caught on camera.

But i searched this thread because I was thinking of telephone lines. Does anyone think google, apple, and the federal government aren't monitoring each and every call and text, looking for key words?

I feel like POTS might be fun again.

1: does a dumb copper phone line still exist?
2. is there any way to plug in a digital assistant to screen spam calls? I realize this is literally counterproductive to my point, allowing another spy program to handle your calls.

But I was just curious. I cancelled the land line a decade ago when 100% of the calls over a month were marketers, and "vote for me's." I wonder if there's less spying/monitoring on it.... or if it's actually easier. It's all just a locked room somewhere crunching all the data. "Carnivore" didn't just go away when knowledge of it got leaked.

POTS still exist, but they're going the way of the dodo.

They're also getting crazy expensive.

People are talking about dumping and boycotting Ring because of a Super Bowl commercial. I apparently missed it, so I had to look it up.

That's a really cool feature Ring, but uh, are you getting consent to do that?

I assumed it was an opt in feature, but I don't know.
It's not me, it's someone else.

"Available" implies optional.

It's funny how people act like they like their privacy, but load every app being offered on their phone. There are dozens, if not hundreds, of people tracking them right now. Bit you know, they dont like being tracked.

Sadly, no lies detected.
