My kid said people are saying huge blocks of spoilers in his Overwatch games. They're getting banned from the servers, but the spoilers are still on the screen.

Yeah, I won't be seeing it for over a week. Not sure how I'll completely avoid spoilers.

Last I saw was that it made more in China than here. Which is good, but I worry about what that will do to the industry. If they start to target a Chinese audience, I think the quality of stories will drop. Their movies kind of suck.

Concur. They have weird pacing and weak stories, in general.

I actually tried searching for it two days ago, and found nothing online, oddly enough.

Bill Burr was reading a news story on his podcast about some scumbag who came out of a showing on opening night and started screaming spoilers to the people waiting to go in.

They beat the fuck out of him.

Literally 1 other guy came into the theatre. It was awesome.

I had a feeling advanced tickets would go like crazy... and after I saw it, I realized that some peeps who paid to see the last one more than once, would not for this one. This one has long, slow chunks of sadness in it.

I don't like that it was insanely predictable.

But it did have some feels.

Also, there were circumstances. We saw it at 11am, in 3d, on a Friday, and the theaters internet booking system had gone down, and they were cash only due to the internet being out.

Which implies that their ticketing is hosted at the theater instead of remotely or the cloud which seems insane.

I got to The Venetian from the airport Sunday and immediately grabbed a cab over to the Orleans where there is a theater. I arrived just in time for a 3:25 3D XS showing and the only seats left were three "handicap" guest seats (Seats next to where a wheelchair would go, but in the front middle of the theater) and the front row.

I sat in one of the wheelchair guest seats and had nobody next to me. It was perfect.
