Whatever, I'll be enjoying a nice sleep that night, and free tickets on Friday.

"Holy fuck you're old."

I'm taking the kid and it's even a school night.

With Cake gone, I'm not sure anyone understands your gay terms any more.

I'm still waiting for a Star Wars movie put out after '85 that's better than the Knights of the Old Republic game.

This one is much different than previous SW films. It helped me to see that Episode 7, while updated for current audience sensibilities, really was same old, same old. This one gave flavor to the galaxy we've never seen in a SW film.

Also the one cgi character was jarringly bad, to me. The wife says she didn't notice.

But good flick. Darker than that to which we are accustomed.

I laughed.

Can't wait to see Rogue One, but it looks like I won't be able to until after Christmas.

I'm sure I'll be subjected to this at some point. J.J. doesn't look mentioned in the credits, so maybe it'll have the first original ideas since the animated Cartoon Network series.

Did not realize this movie somehow got a PG-13 rating. Disagree. Feels PG to me.

Noice. The kid and I will be going to the museum one day during his xmas break, but I think we'll catch SW again in a matinee, too.

Actual discussion I had on Monday:

Friend: It was OK.
Me: It was awesome!
Friend: It just felt disposable in the Star Wars universe, it wasn't the same characters...
