If they leave Lucas out of it, maybe it'll be good.

I think he got the same deal he did for Star Wars. So George is gone.

I find it funny to see the Lucas comments in this thread.

It's like spiking the ball on your ugly ex girlfriend because of the new model your dating, only to find out when you go to seal the deal that the new model girlfriend has a dick.

Oh, and you're the one that got it in the ass.

To fair, Lucas is a washed up hack whose best material was stolen and mashed together, then polished by others. Head to your local comic store and check out the comics based on his original SW script. It wasn't awesome.

I agree that Lucas had his warts. That's why I called him the ugly girlfriend :-)

Edit: Although it might be more accurate to call Disney the hot model with the strap on that insists on you taking one up the pooper. They didn't destroy Pixar or Marvel.

To be fair to Disney, they did the same thing they did with Pixar and Marvel, they left the people in charge. The problem is George walked. That left Kathleen Kennedy who clearly received a lot more credit than she deserved.

True. Disney almost destroyed the original Toy Story until they figured out they needed to stay out of it.

Now looking at 2022.

Btw, was it clear that Temple of Doom was set BEFORE the Lost Ark? Because that was news to me, today.

I did know that but not sure where I picked it up (it is NOT clear from the movies IIRC)

Apparently the opening of each says it. Just never made an impression on me

I thought it was common knowledge that they were out of order, chronologically.

I dunno, it's not like it matters to the movies.

You never, though, if they went back and added that (e.g., "A New Hope" wasn't in the original release).
