Sounds like Jada is backtracking because she knows their position is horseshit. Hell, Will Smith essentially throws her under the bus implying he won't be there because of HER protest.
I'm SURE some black activists have probably pointed out that she, and her ilk, and rich people whining about bullshit awards while kids in Flint are poisoned and kids in Detroit have their schools falling down around them (Both cities are primarily black).

Stacie Dash is rapidly becoming a favorite of mine.
First she slammed this protest/boycott using something called logic (I know, right?), then BET decided to be snarky and attack her back.
Bad move.
She absolutely destroys them.
BET needs to slink away to the shadows before this gets even worse for them.

There was an unaired (in the US) episode of the Boondocks that did way worse.
During the episode, the character Deborah Leevil relates the mission of BET within The Boondocks universe, stating:
Our leader Bob Johnson had a dream, a dream that would accomplish what hundreds of years of slavery, Jim Crow and malt liquor could not accomplish – the destruction of black people.

As I've said a billion times, blacks are over-represented while other minorities are the ones that are truly under-represented.
Although if you want to get technical, the line between whites and Latinos is getting pretty blurred.
Along that same line, who gets the award if Rashida Jones wins?
