Loved. Want to see it again, but I don't have anyone nearby awesome enough to want to go with me. Wife has no interest and the kid is too young.... and I let this kid watch all the Alien movies.

I'd dispute that, but I'm in South Carolina.

Well let me know when you can sneak away in the afternoon. Upcoming weeks are pretty hectic for me..... actually, scratch that. Summer vacation starts next week, so I'll have a kid attached to my hip.

Oh yeah, people keep harping that this is a "feminist" movie. Personally, I didn't see that. Yes, it has some badass women being badass, but I never felt like I had a message being jammed down my throat, and you know I can be overly sensitive to that kind of shit.

It was pretty soft for Rated R, imho.

I loved it. It was about as much action as you could put in a movie, and still have a movie. I will never watch it again though. And the dialogue was horrible.

My wife hated it.

Maybe slight spoilers follow.

I mean, it isn't XXX or anything, but the entire premise of the movie, the warlord trying to retreive his escaped breeding women, is inherently rapey. Plus the scene with the baby brother.

Well, yes, it was certainly intense, and thematically adult/dark, but it wasn't graphically violent, or at least not as much as I expected given the rating.

I am strongly considering Mad Max: Fury Road tomorrow at 12:45 at Levis.

Just saying.

Someone needs to make some YouTube vids where PC dudes go trolling the ... ahem, "genius bar." Can we call it the iPeen table?

I had to type a bunch of information into a Mac laptop while I was there. Their spread out keys were throwing me off. I said to the guy, "sorry, I'm used to typing on an actual computer."

To his credit, he laughed.
