Apocalypse is far more bad-ass. Immortality, shapeshifting, mass distortion, super genius in every conceivable field of knowledge, master of nigh-godlike alien tech, charismatic as any leader in the history of the world. Ronan's an overgrown thug.

Too bad they made him look stupid in this then.

Doing Apocalypse properly would require a fuckton of CGI.

And no Wolverine in the cast listing...

Eh, they could still do better than the purple people eater motif I see.

Billboard is sexist because it shows violence against a woman. I'm SURE the number of complaints would have been equal if the billboard had depicted a man being grabbed by a woman.

I didn't hate it, but it's a great example of how badly this franchise has been handled. No consistency with actors or even the characters. I do like how they can shoehorn the story to fit the overall timeline even though there's massive plot holes because of it.

The cameo that everyone knows is coming was good, but could have been even better.

I didn't mind Apocalypse that much. He's always been a questionable character with unknown abilities (depending on who was writing him), so I was ok with him here. The horsemen were terribly done though.

If you liked the other films this will be an acceptable watch. If you've never seen any of the others, skip this one.
