And really, if you are going to be a likeable character on a Joss Whedon show, the ability to come back to life would be darn handy to have.

That made me laugh.

As for your theory, I don't think that will be it. Besides, that's essentially what their "Super Soldier" theory is...

The alien theory is stupid.

My theory since the end of Avengers was that he didn't die, but I didn't know about this new wrinkle. Something happened...

The LMD thing is possible, but I don't see a bunch of people taking orders from an LMD. The whole point of the LMDs in the comics was that people didn't know.

That leaves the Scarlett Witch. This is the most interesting prospect to me because it immediately ties them into Avengers 2, and explains his appearance.

However...

I still like the fact that Fury played Cap and Stark because that's exactly what his character would do. He'd manipulate them by faking Coulston's death.

So I'm going to agree that it's not one of those five.

I have no clue what it's going to be, but I'm now less convinced of the LMD theory.

I'm just about done with this show. It should be much better than it is.

I'm starting to think the real problem is Coulson. I like the character and the actor, but he may just be too ... well, boring, to head what is fundamentally an action show and driven by excitement.

I'm not DONE with the show, but I generally agree. It is one of the few shows I can watch with the kid during dinner.

Stan the Man! Plus, a "game changer" episode...

Based on criticism of the show, I'd expect a death (most likely Ward as he's awful), and more super powers.

I'm still two episodes behind, but holy hell did this show get a lot better all of a sudden.

And Ward is actually interesting! Talk about pulling off the impossible.

Well then.

Hell of a set up for season two, I must say.

Yep, that didn't suck. The show ended very strong.

Season 2 has been greenlit, and there is going to be an "Agent Carter" in there somewhere.

I've heard from people who have rewatched S1 of this show who say it is much more interesting with the knowledge of the reveal of Cap 2. It is full of stuff you don't appreciate until you know the reveal, which actually hurt the show initially when no one was getting it.

Holy shit did this show get good.

The mid-season finale was really good and had some major reveals. Huge plot devices were shown that will be key to several Marvel movies.

Every episode is just full of Marvel universe name dropping and whatnot. This is the show we were expecting.

And they turned the worst character on the show into one of the best.

The only negative is Fox owning the X-Men rights... They're retconing certain things to make it work for the ____ movie. (No spoilers)

Season 2 was pretty strong all through. Had some great moments, the finale was excellent and still sets up more stuff to happen in the Marvel universe... perhaps with Cap3? and it tied in to the second Avengers movie KINDA good.... was sorta superficial, unlike their S1 tie in with CA2:TWS, but that has to be expected, I suppose.

There have been some great moments.

<param name="movie" value="" />
<param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" />
<param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" />
</object>

The movies are created to exist in the same universe, and we have hints here and there that they do, but this is the show that fleshes out those connecting threads.

Still think Joss could have done a little more to acknowledge his own freakin show in Ultron.
