I think that would probably bring it more in line with the first movie.

I think the audience has been fist-pumping his victories since the second movie, and ignoring the fact that he ends each of them with nothing, and no one. This latest movie makes that impossible to ignore.

He sounds like .... I don't know. An overly dramatic teen girl?

And, did he cash the check?

Was there a check for this film or just the first one? Hollywood enjoys fucking people over like the guy who wrote Forest Gump. He signed on for a percentage of the profits then watched in court as Hollywood accountants proved it didn't make a profit.

He should fire his attorney. Not the one he used in the court case, but the one that said it was okay to sign the initial contract. That sort of maneuvering is common enough (even then) that they should have known better.

“I felt degraded and dehumanised after I left the theatre,” elaborated Morrell in an interview with Newsweek. “Instead of being soulful, this new movie lacks one. I felt I was less a human being for having seen it,

Some say the violence was scaled back too much.

"They say you used to be like that, you used to do bad things. But you changed."

"No I didn't. I just keep a lid on it."

It was ok.

I think Gordon is right about Rambo's constantly being alone and having nothing. This movie certainly hammers that home in a big way.

I think there was a big flaw in the middle of the film. It just didn't match the character at all. I'm sure one could argue he was being impulsive or whatever, but it didn't fit. The friend's motivation also made little sense.

#4 was miles better.
