I missed this tragedy when it happened. Saw the video from the other ship today elsewhere and dug more into what happened. Found this news story.

I would murder that piece of shit coward who grounded the rescue teams. How in the fuck is he still employed. That fact alone tells me a lot about New Zealand.

Seems accurate, but 250 knots is only about 290 mph, and commercial planes go about 500 knots, so double that speed.

Sure, it seems like there are more, but I'm guessing that number bumps significantly from 84-100.
