Personal financial responsibility absolutely plays a role here, ask Caleb Hammer, however our current society is not modeled to encourage responsible spending nor are we educating people about it. Our schools are just churning out consumers. We're being failed at every turn, but I'm sure this country wide pyramid scheme ends well.

I think this would be true of a lot of companies. HR departments, as they currently function, don't really need to exist. They're just overhead that invent bullshit to fake value.

On a related note, most of the jobs AI is expected to eliminate rapidly are those filled by women. HR is one of them.

AI is replacing women in the workforce and will soon replace women in the home as AI fuck dolls become a thing.

Unchecked greed is going to make the U.S. fall either by people voting in socialism or by not having kids.
