On Sept. 24, 2007, in a deal shrouded in secrecy that left alleged victims shocked at its leniency, Epstein agreed to a 30-month sentence, including 18 months of jail time and 12 months of house arrest and the agreement to pay dozens of young girls under a federal statute providing for compensation to victims of child sexual abuse.

In exchange, the U.S. Attorney’s Office promised not to pursue any federal charges against Epstein or his co-conspirators.
No corruption here.

I cannot, under any circumstance, understand protecting someone like that. How can you look yourself in the eye knowing you protected a monster? How can you look your kids in the eye or your grand kids?

Epstein deserved to be taken out to a field, have two shotgun slugs put into his face at point blank, and then left there. No burial. You'd have a hard time convincing me that the people who protected him and/or helped him don't deserve the same.

Eh... these polls have been within the margin of error. Also, the Democrat primary is still going on. The number of #NeverTrump people were a lot higher when there were other people still in the race. I suspect there are some #NeverHillary among the Democrat base that will likewise end up holding their nose and voting for her.

I do find it hilarious that Trumpets denounced the polls this far out as meaningless two weeks ago and are hanging their hats on them now.

I never made a statement of that nature. You have me understandably confused with some other famous people. Secondly, numbers are going to be in flux until the debates kick in ... unless someone fucks up royally.

If I did decide to jump a border because of Drumpf Droopy Dick, I'm not sure where it would be.

So what it really comes down to is which seventy-year-old, preternaturally-dishonest career fundraiser properly captures the young, poor, and issue-focused independent vote. Voter turnout should be around the fucking block. Might run out of 'I voted' stickers!

Ben Carson tells third-party folk not to "steal" an election from Trump.
Carson warned that Gary Johnson, the Libertarian Party candidate, and any potential third-party candidate that gets into the race are stealing the spotlight away from Trump because of "petty little differences."
...
"A quarter of a century ago, another Clinton was running for the White House and it was the entrance of a third-party candidate, Ross Perot, that made it possible for him to win,"

Ben,

1. Use your neurosurgical training to locate the human head on a passer-by.
2. Use the head as a reference to determine the opposite end of the passer-by's torso.
3. Eat a big bucket of whatever comes out of that end.

Signed, a concerned citizen.

After checking out news articles over the past couple weeks, Trump's pod people appear to have taken over most of the Reality TV Party, formerly the GOP. It's remarkable how little backbone there was left.
