Wikipedia actually has a pretty decent write-up about why Central Texas barbeque is the best. It really comes down to quality of the meat and solid cooking methods. That's why we don't need sauces to cover up the taste like y'all do.

Major spoiler even if you HAVE seen the movie, heh. But it isn't like they can advertise that the actor is in the next movie and not have it be a spoiler.

Spoilers coming, so look away, but really, if you're reading this thread why haven't you fucking seen it yet? At this point you deserve to have it spoiled for you. (People that have been in jail, war, comas, or outer space are exempt from that statement.)
They never actually showed him die, and the only confirmation was via a handheld radio from a prelim team. they never again say anything about him being dead. At least, nobody from S.H.I.E.L.D. did...
