I get why the dems had to vote no. It was after all the rep's idea so they are required to vote no. But it really does make them look stupid. The reps are laughing right now thinking "what other fucked up bills can we put forward for the dems to vote against and make themselves look stupid?"

I think it might have actually been needed considering Ds have been fighting for illegals to get due process even though ICE has only been focusing on criminals.

I know it's going to be a good companion to the shot of Ds not standing when Trump said, "Stand if you think Americans should come before illegals."

Have they though? I'm not completely convinced that's true. Well, except that they are all here illegally. . . I'm talking about people that have committed crimes beyond that. Now, I could just be getting fed Dem bullshit about 'this non-criminal got deported' type headlines. But there appears to be some evidence that some non-criminals have also been deported.

That being said, having committed more crimes or not. . . be here legally.

And we don't have time to 'due process' them. There are WAY too many and they are costing us enough as it is. That's just the reality.

Now THAT being said, I also support just issuing them SS#'s, put them on the books, and lets move on. Probably the cheapest way to deal with it? It also ends the illegal hiring practices of all the pieces of shit taking advantage of their illegal status and pocketing the profits. But they can't vote, get full benefits, etc until they finish the in processing and become 'full legal'.

Don't tell Obama illegals need due process! BTW, same head of ICE and he even gave Homan an award. 5M+ deported. 56 died in custody. I can post multiple clips of Obama speeches talking about how compassion has to take a back seat to the law when it comes to immigration. Clinton deported almost as many as Biden let in, and same speeches. Biden was literally breaking federal law importing all the illegals, but now when trying to correct that the law matters? Not for nothing, but he also deported 7M. Meanwhile, tens of thousands of children disappeared under his watch. Also, in an odd, yet factual twist, Ds with the help of some Rs, passed record funding for ICE under Biden.

I must have missed all the anti-ICE protests during their tenures. Did AOC do another photo op at a detention center during any of those terms?

Meanwhile, Trump deported 1.2M in his first term and so far a little over 600K in this term. He claims 1.2M self deports, but people debate that number.

Yes, BUT they have been very open about the fact that if they show up somewhere to arrest a known criminal illegal and there are non-criminal illegals there too, they will also arrest them. Point being, they're not actively seeking them out, but if they encounter them, they also go. I may or may not be privy to knowing that in some cases the feds try to tip off the non-criminals to not be around so they can just target the criminals.

I assume you have some skin in the game, so please know I'm empathetic. Some other countries suck and people risk everything to come here. We should want those people, BUT the laws have to be followed. Without laws, we have no society. Despite what a lot of morons who call themselves "anarchists" think, such a place would not be a lot of fun.

If Trump called me and asked how to do these deportations, here's what I would do:
-Zero benefits across the board for illegals, except emergency medical services, and criminally prosecute any politician going against this. If the U.S. was a debt free utopia and no citizens were in need we could revisit this, but that's not reality, so sorry, not sorry.
-Continue with the self-deportation program. Strongly express that entering illegally a second time equals giving up a chance at citizenship forever.
-Use existing detention centers, but assign enough judges, prosecutors, and defenders so that they can hold cases 24/7. If there's one thing EVERYONE can agree on, there's plenty of lawyers to go around... (I would have people auditing the judges though. No activists! If someone is being too lenient or too harsh based on their numbers, they get removed.)
-Everyone here illegally that has committed a malicious crime (murder, rape, robbery, fraud, etc.) can fuck off forever.
-All attractive female illegals are immediately referred to Catt and Leisher's court. No exceptions.
-As for all the law abiding illegals...I think it should be case by case on whether they get to stay or must go. Determining factors should be: Employment. Family relations here to U.S. citizens. Do they speak English (did they bother trying to assimilate). Number/type of minor legal offenses. Their need/use of assistance to this point.
-For those who must go, let and help them fill out the appropriate forms applying for citizenship and then let them pick being sent home or to immigration city, my previously stated plan for housing people with no option of returning home.

Now for those who get to stay...
-Immediate enrollment in the citizenship program. Failure to achieve citizenship in a fair amount of time (I don't know how long the program takes) means mandatory deportation.
-A fine based on how long you've been here. Nothing back breaking and it should be paid out over time. It's more a test of your commitment to staying.
-You must renounce your citizenship to your previous country. Any country that passes laws to subvert this rule immediately disqualifies their citizens from staying. We're not welfare for the world.
-Community service. Not just a punishment, but it would help them acclimate to the culture.

It was because of her husband's businesses, and an accounting error related to them. That part is verifiable.
