I'm guessing that's exaggerated. Though once upon a time my wife said that me having sex with other people is basically fine. But me have an emotional relationship with someone else is not.

I get it. Thinking about it, perhaps my own experiences blind me a bit. I have never had an emotional relationship with a biological woman (adding that disclaimer to prevent jokes) that did not become physical.

I think it's been established that the Indian guy just completely fabricated the story. From all accounts he didn't even work under her and never even dealt with or communicated with her.
