When you're doing this bad against an inarguably terrible human being, Trump, maybe it's time to rethink your policies?

Ones that I have heard about are Saline (approved), Howell (so far, it's a no and the builder retreated for now), Lyon township (approved without telling the community about it. Community is pissed and trying to fight it).

They keep trying to build them in people's literal backyards. Michigan has a FUCK TON of uninhabited areas they could build in. They keep building next to established communities where they can just tie in to (and fuck up) established resource distribution systems.

Yeah, would require a fair amount of transmission construction to build them elsewhere. Building near large transmissions lines has obvious advantages for their power consumption. The utility in the article mentioned building a lot of battery storage near the sites to minimize peak demand impacts, etc. Will be interesting to see how it works out.

In theory they're regulated by FERC and MISO (system operator), and have to be able to provide enough electricity for these DCs to turn on.
