I was pretty sure Ana was going to die, I just thought it'd be next week.

I hear Cynthia Watros has a pilot out for a sitcom next season, so Linny's life may hang on the success of that show. If the show takes off, she's a gonner for sure.

It's a link to the commercial that aired last night, along with what you hear if you call the number.

I got out of the habit of watching them when....... the hispanic chick shot the blonde bitchy chick which made the iraqi dude almost go sickhouse.

After I catch up on the Battlestars (last one I saw was he hostage situation in the bar where Billie got shot when the black chick screwed him over because she wanted hunky Apollo instead of dweeby Billie) I plan to catch up on Losts.

I have yet to see a single episode of Battlestar. Maybe I'll watch them over the summer.

Paul, dig up the spoiler thread to talk about deaths on Lost. I did read recently something on that subject...

Didn't I tell you she was going to die? I found out in December. There was an article... oh... February-ish. It didn't mention the behind-the-scenes reasons though.

Looks like I didn't post the reason.

Post what you read. I can't post what I know in a public forum.

Anna died on Wednesday's episode, so after she was fatally shot in the chest I considered it old news. When I posted on Thursday that her death (the night before) was a week earlier than I expected, I didn't consided that a future spoiler.

If you want a "No talking about things in the future, or things that have already aired" thread you're welcome to start one. Until then, be careful of reading about thing that have already happened in this thread.

I didn't need to avoid this thread once you had already ruined the episode for me elsewhere.

P.S. It's not like I didn't know that stuff wasn't coming, it's just that it ruined what would have been a big shock as I didn't expect them this week.

Now to actually discuss the episode:
-The Michael thing was a bit dumb. Only because when he left he did so via force. Nobody thought it was odd that he was putting his quest on pause or that he had returned at all?
-Was Henry really after Locke? If so, why?
-I think it'll turn out that killing Anna and saving Henry was Michael's mission given to him by the Others. Libby was just an accident.
-Could Echo's eyes have been any bigger in the preview for next week when he's falling?
-Hindsight being 20/20 do you think the Lost people wish they could go back and recast Anna Lucia and Libby?
-Does this mean we'll never know about Libby's past and why she was in the institution?

What do you mean? Get other actresses entirely, or cast those two in more permenant roles?

I can't believe they've killed off both the hot latina zombie chick and Erin Titus. The hottie count on Lost is dropping fast.

Other actresses.

Your hot latina is a lesbian. Sorry to break it to you. As Paul stated elsewhere, so has huge offscreen problems and they wanted her out. She claims she did too, but don't buy into that as she really has been nothing more than a bit player.

If Erin Titus is the blonde chick, she is involved with another TV show that apparently is going to get air time in the fall? Anyway, she can't do two shows, so...

The hottie count on Lost is dropping fast.

They can always crash another plane or boat. Not to mention the flashbacks can still contain hotties. Plus, we haven't seen all the Others yet.

Dude, that just makes her even hotter!

If Erin Titus is the blonde chick...

It's the name of a character she played on one of the best TV shows of all time.

EDIT: Oops, I forgot she and Christopher never got married before the show ended, so technically her last name wasn't Titus yet. It might as well have been, though.

No, she's the kind that hates men because she isn't a man.

Not hot.

Anyone notice that the two girls killed were the same two that got DUIs.

Also that whole thing with Michael was messed up. He came out of the jungle w/o any of the gear he took with him. They didn't ask were his rifle was or any of the other stuff. That made no sense. Also they know the "Others" have his son so they could be blackmailing him.
Also they know that people can be turned from what the French woman has told them. Further they know that they are organized and are dressing down from what Claire told them from when she was held captive.

J.J. Abrams mentions it here. The article is a lot of spin though, so don't put too much weight into what he says.

Not hot.
The intense hatred smoldering within her eyes is part of what makes her so hot.

I don't care why it smolders.

Just because someone is revmoved from a group of survivors, doesn't mean that the removed people are worse off. I believed Goodwin when he talked about the children being better off, and that only good people were taken (only good people are on the list, and only people on the list get taken).

So, if "Henry Gale" was after Locke, it would be because the Others consider Locke to be a good person. As far as we know (unlike Kate, unlike Sawyer, unlike Jack, unlike Anna) Locke hasn't done anything to kill anybody.

As far as recasting Anna & Libby... no. I think they like who they got.

As far as Libby... I don't think she's dead. She had two gut shots. In TV terms, that's a survivable injury, especially on an island that can make cripples walk and cure cancer. Plus there's no "Libby is dead" buzz in the media.
