US healthcare sucks. Just differently.
Let's be honest, all healthcare sucks. Name a country and I'll find you a horror story.

However, I would rather get health care in a country that isn't financially encouraged to talk me into dying.

There is a better than 0% chance that we'll get a new state from Canada.

Canadians doubled down on stupid in their last election. It'll be interesting to see if they do it again, especially with one province soon to vote on seceding.

Considering they seem to always be wrong, maybe the economists don't know shit?

Also, it's not just the U.S.

The problem with economics is that the outputs are only as good as the inputs.

Canada is one step away from becoming Venezuela, Iran, Cuba, etc.

Another step towards Alberta breaking away from Canada.

I'm very skeptical this happens, but the mere fact that a vote will be held is something.

Quebec held a lot of votes, too.

Yeah, but they're French. I think the other provinces wanted them to secede.

The last time I saw polls on the Alberta thing, it was close to 50%. Canada's government constantly abusing its power isn't going to help. Their cost of living crisis is far worse than ours, their immigration is out of control, they've killed more of their own citizens by assisted suicide than all other nations combined, and now they want to disarm their citizens by force, if necessary.

Of course, these are the same Canadians who overwhelmingly rejected Trudeau's policies, and then immediately voted his party back into power.

Yay, a new country that will regret its decision!

Status quo does not always equal "best outcome". Many battered spouses can attest to that.

If Canada continues on their current path, Alberta will not regret that decision. FULLY depending on what they do with their independence, of course. Canada is well on its way to becoming the next Venezuela, but Alberta could become Liberia if their leaders suck.

If this vote succeeds, the U.S. should immediately start flirting with them.

This could also be in today's internet thing as it's blowing up...

That stands for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, and Asexual.

And I cannot stress enough how important it is for these people to google what an actual genocide is because it's not what they think.

JD Vance is already being tested on it.
