Tom Cruise preaching about his "religion" is far worse than some pre-teen Clay Aiken fan half-assing a decorative shirt.
The odds are the fan in question is in her late 30s / early 40s. Does that help the creepy factor?

The fact that anyone not a guy could be so turned on by this guy that's so flaming he starts brush fires is definitely scarey.
