If you want a good, accurate Marine movie watch HBO's miniseries Generation Kill. MUCH better than The Pacific. When it aired people were saying, 'There is no way Marines are really that crazy and war-psycho..." and we Marines were answering, "Actually, it seems like they toned it down a bit for TV."

Oh right... I always get SEALs and Marines mixed up, since SEALs are almost as awesome.

I was going to make fun of that, but honestly, that's spoken like a true Marine.

The movie is decent. It is Navy Seals without the big ego Hollywood actors. Real military peeps so the acting is a little wooden, but good flick overall.

Fave line: Dude gets shot in the chest by an RPG. doesnt go off. His buddy: "Good thing that was a dud. That woulda hurt."
