Star Wars vs Star Trek

After the prequels and Lucas' doctoring of the original trilogy, not to mention the Star Trek reboot...I've got to go with Trek.

Star Trek has a much richer cannon and a relatively realistic treatment of politics and sociology in it's structure of fake history.

Star Wars has Han Solo, and ... well, that's about it, really. Wookies are kind of cool, too, I guess.

If we go back in time, say, before TNG, I think Star Wars wins, hands down. Star Trek tv show was good, not great. The movies were boring, imho.

The ST reboot, the expansion of the universe from TNG, etc, and the abysmal failure of the 2nd SW trilogy give it to ST.

Some parts of Star Wars suck but everything about Star Trek(besides Q) sucks.

STIV - Hilarious in a good way
STV - Sucked
STVI - Good
STVII, VIII, IX, X - All decent
ST: The new one - Fantastic
