Cars 2

Since Cars is widely viewed as Pixar's weakest film, I'm sure most people won't give Cars 2 much of a chance.

That being said, it isn't Pixar's strongest film, but it is still better than most of the crap other studios release.

It's a "Big Oil is Evil" movie.

Oh, also, there's a body count in this one, which was sort of a surprise.

I really like the first Cars movie, and my daughter LOVES it.

Not sure if she'd like the 2nd, it sounds a lot different than the first.

If the first one was Doc Hollywood, then this one is closer to a James Bond flick.

I've read a few more reviews and digested a bit more:

The first movie was character driven, and was about Lightning McQueen. We watched him grow as a person.

The second movie is about Mater, and he has an arc, but it has a lot more action instead of being character driven.

Still a good movie, just different from the first one. And isn't that good?
