Resolved:  Operation Prohibited by Disk

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Operation prohibited by disk. You know, when you want to skip the asinine FBI warning, or the bullshit studio animations and stuff and just watch the movie.

Oh yeah, that bullshit. Every now & then the dude that authors the DVDs fuck up & you can skip thru them. It's effectively stealing my time. I bought your DVD for the entertainment value, not the seven or eight disclaimers + advertisements + previews you toss on there.

I can't remember what movie it was, but there was one DVD that had 10 minutes of previews and shit and none of it could be skipped through.

I threw it away.

Is it ironic that the people who legally purchase the DVD are punished with the "Don't steal DVD's!" forced lecture? Because I think that might be a good example of irony.
