Over the weekend the devs for the slavery simulator turned all the slaves white and immediately were getting criticized for whitewashing history by the same people who criticized the game for existing in the first place.

You will never appease some people, let alone everyone. That's why you should never engage. Corporate America should take notes.

This is funny, but could be a very interesting experiment.

Swap out the races/cultures involved and see what combinations are tolerant and which ones aren't.

Notice how that dipshit is wearing earplugs, but he doesn't have them for everyone else?

Paid holidays. . . I was looking to see what holidays are typically paid by employers. There's the "big 6"
Memorial day
Independence
Labor
Thanksgiving
Christmas
New Years

Then there's the common ones:
Martin Luther King
Juneteenth
Black Friday
Veteran's
President's

MLK is the only person with their own holiday.
Black people are the only race with their own holiday.

You can argue that president's day is celebrating old white men. Or that Christmas is celebrating the birth of a white man (He was traditionally viewed as a white man). But only black people have specific holidays for them. (avoiding the obvious Black Friday puns)

I was surprised Good Friday wasn't listed, but it was always grouped with "Spring Break". Although, as a child, we always called it Easter Break in school.

I don't have a problem with the holidays. It was just an observation I made today.

Growing up it was Good Friday, but I live in the South. Then they had to merge it with Spring Break.

Depends on the school system here. Some tied Spring Break into Good Friday, some are weeks away. I think they stagger it so the whole area isn't off at the same time.
