On Steam.

If you've ever wanted to try an idle or are looking for a good one, I really like this one so far.

You can set it and forget it or play actively (although how active will depend on certain conditions of your playthru). It's NOT a clicker. It's all math, resource management, etc.

There's a story, although I don't know if there's an end game or not.

Not as insanely deep as NGU Idle, but a nice little distraction game.

Cake, I noticed you're playing.

I've hit a wall. Sector 56A. My stuff is still growing at a good pace in most areas, but my ship isn't moving forward. It seems to be a very intentional wall to slow your progress. Not maliciously or to encourage spending, which really does nothing as it's all cosmetic or AI points (I've never spent a dime and have more than enough.) I think the enemy stats just ramped up to match large leaps in features too.

For example: I just hit a pretty large price increase in Warp Drive upgrades. The next ship upgrade is the highest, distance traveled, I've seen. The next feature update is a significant sector increase. However, I've unlocked crew, four bases, have completed 4/5 levels for all but one of the challenges, etc.

I believe once I get over this hump, I'll have the stats to push to the next notable sector quickly.

The crew feature is a bit confusing. When do I retire vs reprint? I set it all to AI, but I still don't grasp it fully. (Not using any guides.)

I found found a pattern for upgrading. Maybe.

I spent about a week concentrating on Synth production. I had my reactor and V Devices set to maximize synth production. I climbed through them pretty quickly, maxing each resource to infinity. Then I hit a wall. It was going to take 3 days to go up 1 level (where previously, I would hit infinity in about 3 days). So I shifted and put everything into research. Reactor, synth, V Device to maximize research. Again, I was knocking out research goals a few per day. Then hit a wall and it was going to take a week to do 1 goal. So now I'm maximizing base advances. I'm upgrading base 'part's' at an accelerated rate. Meanwhile, I have noticed my synth production has caught up. It will take about a week to max the resource that was previously going to take 210 days. That's because there were some research buffs that were finished, I'm able to upgrade the synth lab more because of salvage buffs, etc.

So, it seems like it wants you to focus on certain areas, instead of trying to upgrade/work with all areas at the same time.

Yeah, I did the same focusing of synth and I'm less than two rows from having all the upgrades.

I still don't understand crews at all.

Honestly, I've just been logging in and doing the bare minimum in this game lately. I've been focusing more time on NGU Idle as I'm thisclose to completing it.
