Well-written book, in the first person from 3 different characters. Revolves around the aforementioned girl on the train, and her life, and those lives near her.
It has one of my LEAST favorite plot devices, but I'll let it go as it's pretty well done.
The story itself is a bit predictable, but well told and enjoyable. It's a thriller/mystery about a woman who goes missing, and no one knows why. Details are revealed through each character's turns, and by weaving their stories together in two different time streams.

Re: Book - The Girl on the Train
Read Gone Girl as well. It's similar in some ways, both are thrillers told in 1st person with some unreliable narrative going on.
Solid book, gets a little flimsy towards the end, but otherwise intriguing and worth reading. Has a darker tone overall than the Girl on the Train.
