I'm rereading some of his old stuff that I haven't read since the late 80's. Someone needs to teach him about guns. In one book he described a soldier who fired "hundreds" of rounds from his M-16 before the magazine was empty. In another he describes a woman carrying an uzi and she has to be careful with her shots because even her "200 round magazine" would be depleted soon.
Do they make a 200 round magazine for an uzi? The book didn't describe it as having a drum or being belt fed or anything.
Anyway, learn about guns, 1980's Dean Koontz.

I saw a picture on imgur where a guy had rigged together about a dozen banana clips into an AK-47.

Biggest mag I can find advertised for an Uzi is 50 9mm. As for the size, fuck, it can blow through 200 rounds in 20 seconds. While you might be able to rig one to take a drum or belt, both seem absurd for that gun.

Uzi with a 50 round mag (allegedly of .45 ACP) with a 30 sitting by for comparison. Quadrupling the size of the loaded mag would double the size of the weapon. A smaller calibre isn't going to reduce the size enough to make that capacity feasible outside the next Hot Shots movie.
