I'd like to do a good capacity test of the server to see if it can handle any kind of population, to see if it is worth trying to build a community on it.

I figure we could easilky get

on it at a designated time without much trouble, but really we'd also need Cakedaddy and his crew, also. That would give us 8 or 9 people. Anyone heard from him? As far as I know Detroit exploded and he is dead.

I was thinking this coming weekend. Just hop on for a few minutes and see if it gets choppy.

If it's this upcoming weekend, it'll have to be Sunday night. I'll be out of town until then.

TF2 uses 32kbs, iirc, so you should be able to fit a max of 12 remote players.

If peeps wanted a larger server, I might be able to set up an after-hours and weekend only one at work, if people could contribute a few $ a month or something. Would have to ask about the kosherness, but we dont do much after hours round here.

You can rent servers for around $30/month.

As far as a stress test. I'm sure I could get the people I play with online as well. This weekend will be bad though cause of plans. But maybe Thursday night would work. Or tomorrow night for that matter. Not tonight though. Tonight's bad. Very bad. So bad, in fact, that. . . never mind. I don't want to talk about it. Just. . . not tonight. Thank you.
