Single and multiplayer space shooter game. Tried the trial version.

It's not bad in a diner dash or asteroids kind of way. It's a top down space game. Keyboard controls. No way worth the $20 asking price. It's like a flash game on steroids.

What I was expecting was an X-Wing vs Tie Fighter type thing. I got . . . I dunno. Not even close to that. Fun cause it's Battlestar though.

I have a CH Products stick with about the same number. Last Xmas I got a new X52 setup. Super sweet, but a severly lacking software list. As in, not many good joystick games out there. I got IL2Strumovichnoskolinsnich or whatever the hell that word is. Really good WWII combat flight sim. Would like a good Mech game or space game though. Which is what I was hoping BSG would have been.

Yea, I know. I ain't seen a new Wing Commander, Privateer, or X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter type game in years.

I'd rebuy XvT if they'd just upgrade the graphics. IIRC the max resolution is 640x480. Besides that I think the game was about perfect.

I have many fond memories of TIE Fighter & X-Wing collectors editions. Even as polygon-looking as the graphics were.
