I've been watching "Heavy : the Story of Metal on VH1." One dude was talking about the heyday of the glam/hair metal scene in the '80s. He said it was, "Everything you've heard of and ten times more." I thought to myself, "I dunno, I've heard quite a bit."

Somehow, I don't think this dude's anecdotes, no matter how candid, will surprise me.

To counter what you said, Rupert actually says he went in thinking Hollywood was drugs, orgies, killing, etc. and was disappointed to discover it's nothing like that.

He claims it's more about middle management and stars being paid to shut up.
