In their defense I have heard sales picked up with the news of "Home".

Apparently, 10+ year old technology that PC users are used to having makes console peeps go crazy.

I am taking unbridled pleasure in watching the Sony's console suck ass in a country where Square could code a mass suicide suggestion in the next (PS exclusive) FF & kill off 90% of the demographic.

It is rather enjoyable isn't it.

I know that's being mean to Sony, but I was a huge Sony fan and lately, they've gotten to be too arrogant for their own good.

Sony lays off American & European workers, but it's not due to the relatively pitiful PS3 sales.

I like how Sony's response reads to me, "Nothing to see here. Move along, move along. Don't mind the fiery, white-hot, hulking inferno of refuse that use to be our console market share."

So they were going to lay them off anyway?

"This move is not wholly related to any one product in our portfolio," he stated. "More accurately, it is reflective of shifts in the marketplace and in consumers' wants and needs, such as the rise of digital content delivery and networked services. In order to maintain our market leadership, the management of SCEA has found it necessary to analyze the business and restructure the company as necessary."

Apparently, they're just trying to slim down the company for a market trend that seems to be hindering them. A fantastically unsuccessful console had nothing to do w\ it, though. Just like the suit & Square didn't resign cos the eight bajillon dollar FF movie flopped flat on its face like Britney after a bender.
