Apparently the next Freddy vs Jason was going to have Michael Myers show up to kick ass.
They've dumped that idea though because they figure it'd be too much like the first film.
So instead...here comes ASH!!!!!
I'll be there opening night. Bonus post count for whomever posts the first trailer.

That is semi-clever editing from the "Evil Dead" series & the "Friday the 13th" series. He just spliced scenes together.
I also heard that Ash v. Jason v. Freddy will not be happening.

I heard that too Malcolm. Apparently, they couldn't figure out who would win or some shit like that. Ditto for the rumored Michael Myers tie-in.

One of the possible endings for Freddy v. Jason was that they were supposed to go down to hell & meet Pinhead. Another was that they'd fight in a gladiator pit for eternity for Lucifer's amusement. The former seems more interesting to me. I'd want Kane Hodder back being Jason, though.

The dude that put it together was called Ryan Schifrin. He's making a flick called "Abominable" about the Yeti or some such. ABC was probably doing either a piece on him or how Hollywood is too violent or the recent wave of horror flicks. Checking out "Abominable" on imdb yields a result or two on the film's BBS.

Shit I just looked when this thread was started.
Come down for X3. Maybe DoctorChaos will come up for it too.
I know my wife will be thrilled if she doesn't have to see it with me. Plus, I won't have to take her to see "Stick it" or whatever that dumb movie is by the people who made "Bring it on". Yes, women get geeked about movies too, just not good ones.

After a brief check on what Robert Englund has said, he'd like to work w\ Jamie Lee Curtis &\or Tony Todd (as Candyman) for the next flick, as opposed to bringing in Michael Myers or Ash.
& Robert said Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash is officially dead.

Nobody gives a fuck about Candyman.
Michael Myers has what is viewed by many to be THE horror film and about 9 or so sequels.
Ash has three films and is the most popular B list celebrity on the planet.
Who do you think will sell more tickets, Candyman or Ash/Michael Myers?
