Let loose on this dumb ass movie.

The killer was a control freak. He loved his little scenarious, obviously planning them out for weeks ahead of time. He plotted out everything he could. It's like setting up a large, complex set of dominos, only to lay down and close your eyes after tapping the first one down. He doesn't he get to sit back and enjoy watching the pieces fall into place. Plus, should anything go wrong his weeks of work would be wasted because he couldn't take a corrective step. [b}And[/b] the victims wouldn't learn their lesson. No control freak is going to take that sort of risk.

The only reason the killer was the body was to make the killer's identity unexpected.

Oh... so much to bitch about. Who wants next swing?

Yes, the only reason the killer was the body is because they wanted to throw you. Totally true. It was a very lazy trick by the creators because they obviously didn't have the skill to give the killer a story and still keep the crowd from knowing who it was. I would have prefered that they leave the killer as an unknown entity and introduce his backstory later ala Hannibal Lecter.

From a guy who has seen a lot of films, I probably should have guess who it was since the person is a familiar face from B movies and to just have such a small part...

Now we know how he came across the path of his victims, but why them? Nothing in that scene says that he should have made the doctor his victim, let alone the janitor guy. Also, why didn't he attack the asian girl?

Oh, and have you ever seen a cancer victim with that much energy to set up all those elaborate traps and puzzles?

My big problem was from the cops. I've NEVER seen cops act less like cops than in this film. Those cops DID have enough for a warrant based on that video. And they would have gone in force. And if they did arrest the serial killer, how did they expect the conviction to stand up if they didn't have a warrant? Also, no cops are going to put a sheet back over a hostage because they want to see what a serial killer is going to do. There was sooooooooo much wrong with that scene its not even funny.

Another thing to ask yourself is how they missed that wire coming INTO the building since that's the route they took.

I still liked the film's concept, but yeah, it could have been done a LOT better.

5 minutes after they showed the guy in the center of the floor, my wife goes "That's the killer." I thought about it and decided she was probably right.

Good movie to watch each Halloween.

I liked the concept as well. Imagining what it would be like in the traps themselves was rather disturbing.

The storyline was lacking, though.

As far as cops screwing the pooch at a potential crime scene and with proceedures, I've read enough true crime to know that's not outside the realm of possibility by a long shot.
