So, if Trump just fired four people in one week, doesn't that make his show three weeks shorter? Does this mean they've adjusted the schedule already, that they planned something like this from the beginning, or that they'll have to have non-firing weeks to fill the gap?

Seems likes an odd decision from a production standpoint. Fewer shows means fewer ad revenues, but the cost savings of having fewer "contestants" isn't proportionate to that at all.

We started threads on the same subject and posted them at exactly the same time.

I think Trump wanted to fire the whole team. He was quite obviously pissed.

It will shorten the length of the show, but they'll do something to make up for it. They probably could justify a week where the two guys (Jason and Mark?) who weren't Project Manager tonight get a shot at proving they still belong. That'd at least give them one week back.

Hopefully they realized that the show was just too damned long last season, and did this to shorten it up, planning to give Trump some variability with the firings to do things just like this.

I loved it. Amazon Barbie HAD to go. She talked about how she was going to be selling, selling, selling and little else. I wasn't real clear how barking "POPCORN! PEANUTS! COLD DRINKS!" was going to translate into department sales of sporting goods ...? I was glad she choked.

And Josh allowing his team to de-rail by letting the batting cage monopolize the focus of the task, which was obviously revenue, numbers, MONEY ... I was prepared for a dogfight in the boardroom between he and Jen M.

I have 4 can't-miss prime-time shows: "Medium" "Nip/Tuck" "SuperNanny" and this.
I like the tasks the teams perform, the competition, the different dimensions of the players, the boardroom dogfights and of course the priceless pearls of business wisdom from The Donald. :;):
