Oh wait, yeah... I did see it on the Internet the other day, so I guess it's about time to hit the theaters.

The only Batman movie ever made, I decree. You finally get to see into the mind of Bruce Wayne and understand a little bit about why he does what he does.

It goes into his psyche far beyond a quick flashback of his parents being murdered.

Plus, when he goes after the street level thugs, you see it from their perspective. You get that same sense of anticipation waiting for something to grab them from the shadows that you get watching a horror movie.

I give it 8/10

Excellent flick.

Are we supposed to accept Katie Holmes as a 35 year old woman?

If Katie Holmes looked like a 35 year old woman, Tom Cruise wouldn't be using her to cover up his gayness.

Why does everybody want to put the camera RIGHT UP IN the fight scenes nowadays? You can't fuckin' see the fight; all you see is some guy's back.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that.

I have no idea what happened in the majority of the fight scenes... seemed like 2 cuts per second.

I think that was mostly because of how clunky a guy in a full latex suit looks trying to fight.

Just my guess.

Great movie despite two things:

1: Fight scenes were a bit bizarre

and

2: The batman mask looks like ASS in this one... He should have stolen George Clooney's and still used the "advanced infantry" suit.

I thought the the character who played Alfred, Liam, Morgan, and especially the scarecrow guy, were extremly well done.

9/10

I especially liked that Alfred was more in this one. Not just the "old guy that speaks wisdom if anyone would listen to him".

This Alfred was more of a molding influence in Bruce Wayne's development after his folks died.

What was wif th' Cockney accent, eh? I always figured Alfred for a more elegant man's man. And we know Michael Caine can do that.

The next ex. Mrs. Cruise dropped from the sequel.

So sounds like more joker action. Interesting. (Please, not Jim Carrey, please)

Let's play "who doesnt belong?":

Christian Bale .... Bruce Wayne/Batman
Michael Caine .... Alfred
Liam Neeson .... Ducard
Katie Holmes .... Rachel Dawes
Gary Oldman .... Jim Gordon
Tom Wilkinson .... Carmine Falcone
Ken Watanabe .... Ra's Al Ghul
Morgan Freeman .... Lucius Fox

My vote for the next female is Jessica Alba, for no other reason than that she is smoking...

Why does there have to be a love interest in every damned Batman movie?

to get women to the theatres?

That's why I liked Reign of Fire. It was a man movie made for men.

Women should be home watching the kids, anyway.
