Strange. Google has just decided that DTMan links should be blocked. Anyone else?

To turn this thread back to topic....

Tennessee's best movie is "Nashville"?! Does nobody realize that the vast majority of Grisham's work occurs in Memphis? How about "The Firm"?

Sorry, but I'm of the opinion that when it comes to movies, there are no timless classics. Eventually every movie becomes so out dated that to consider it part of modern society is stagnant thinking. A 1975 movie I've never heard of qualifies as stagnant in my opinion.

The Apostle? Well, it was pretty good, but Dead Man Walking had Sean Penn get the lethal injection. Can't get much better than that.

Blue Crush? You gotta be fist-fuckin' me. There were Hawaii 5-O episodes better than that shitfest.

The best movie in Hawaii is Bones Brigade 3: The Search for Animal Chin. I can't tell you how many times I rended tht movie in the 80's. Granted, only the first part took place in Hawaii, but where else can you see a sixteen year old Tony Hawk sing at a campfire?

Man... now I have to go look that movie up.

I've seen at least 3 Magnum episodes where Tom Selleck shot an unarmed dude in the face at close range.

But they were all bad.

Yep.

Interesting, somewhat depressing movie.

With young Cybil Shepherd boobies.

My fave line: "You're no cocksman!"
