Here's my question, WHO GIVES A FUCK if it's ethnic cleansing or genocide?!?!?! Either way the pricks in charge deserve a good pounding. Fuck the UN and their inaction. But all you whiney bitches who can't get over Iraq will keep us from going into Sudan, because hey, if ethnic cleansing in Iraq isn't grounds for a war, why should one in Sudan be worthwhile?

France led opposition to US moves at the UN over Iraq. As was the case in Iraq, France also has significant oil interests in Sudan.

Mr Muselier also dismissed claims of "ethnic cleansing" or genocide in Darfur.

"I firmly believe it is a civil war and as they are little villages of 30, 40, 50, there is nothing easier than for a few armed horsemen to burn things down, to kill the men and drive out the women," he said.

I say we go and kill the men in any French villiage under 50 people, raping the women and driving them and the children into the countryside to fend for themselves. Then we do the same to Mr Muselier and his family, then see if France thinks it's worth getting involved in. Or is France pumping oil for themselves as well?

Sudan army has just encircled two refugee camps, and have cut off humanitarian aid.

UN considers sending Sudan a really nasty look in reprise.

UN: It never happened. Nothing to see here.

Amazing how after you kill everyone on the list, there's no one left to say it ever happened.

At U.N. headquarters in New York, diplomats confirmed that the report did not find that Sudan had committed genocide, but they said it was very critical of Sudanese government actions. The report was expected to be circulated in New York on Tuesday.

I'd really really really like to know why these people say we need to help the people in Sudan, but we were wrong for helping the people in Iraq.

No, fucking seriously.

Because Hollywood is telling us to help in Sudan, so it's okay. Hollywood didn't tell us to attack Iraq, so it was evil.

But I see no difference between the two, except they say the one was "illegal" and the other is something we have an obligation to do as human beings.

But I can't see any philosophical difference.

George Clooney is all getting arrested and stuff, still trying to draw attention to Darfur. I appreciate those who are willing to put their asses on the line for a cause.

I came across this completely by accident just now, but Clooney also started going gray in his 30's, like me.

Our lives are so similar it is eerie.
