Socially Acceptable Bigotry.
Bob Greene! Alice Cooper and his band had a blast putting him on with their staged fights. According to Alice, a conservative btw, he was the most soft headed gullible stooge
Well, I'm not sure if you're just making a comment about Bob Greene or trying to use this to show that his word can't be trusted. If it's the later, I'll just point out that Einstein was an idiot in terms of every day living. The guy couldn't dress himself or find his way home a block from his house, but we don't discount his words.
To be honest, I had never heard of Bob Greene until I did a bit of research for that post. I simply used him as an example to offset the other author that was referenced. However, common sense and the Einstein example show that his gullible nature doesn't mean anything in terms of his ability to gather facts and write a book.
Leisher's big-ass post a few above talking about book authors.
When I start ranting, I can't stop.
“Every record been destroyed or falsified, books rewritten, pictures repainted, statues, street building renamed, every date altered. The process is continuing day by day. History stops. Nothing exists except endless present in which the Party is right.”
I would've killed to hear some of the shit he & Kurt Godel would talk about during both their declining years at the Institute for Advanced Study. Even Einstein couldn't part w\ some notions he just clung to, though. "God doesn't throw dice," being the most obvious.TheCatt wrote:He could too dress himself, he just wore the same thing every day.
I'd like that level of simplicity.
