What did he say on his website that got him fired?

He used to ridicule the upper management for shitty, stupid decisions. Pretty much what we all do on the internet... but he got caught.
And coincidentally, his ex wife was also a manager at the company.

You know, just for the record:
If I up and die one of these days, I hope one of y'all keep dtman, and all my posts, available forever. I want people to know what a pedant I was.
I should put this kind of thing in a will, or something.

Maybe you should collect it all into a book, with instructions in your will on how to completely update the compliation and make it available through an online print-on-demand publisher.
You might become posthumously famous!

Wow, this makes me sad.

We corresponded from time to time, and a couple years ago he offered me his couch if I wanted to come down for a southern blog meet. I wish I'd taken him up on it, now.
We last wrote about 10 days ago, when he was having a lot of back and shoulder pain. I offered him some of my tips and tricks, and he replied with a thanks and that he was willing to try anything.
